Wearing your headphones

When using either the supplied lanyard or clothing clip with your Bose® headphones, you may notice improved stability during certain activities, such as exercise. Both optional accessories will reduce some of the downward pull from the cable. You can use the lanyard and clothing clip separately or together.

Using the lanyard

Attach the headphone cable through the right (R) and left (L) lanyard connectors approximately 25.4 cm (10 inches) below each ear piece

Important: Make sure the L and R marks point up toward the ear pieces.

Pull the lanyard over your head and allow it to rest behind your neck

Fit the headphones into your ears as described in the headphone owner's guide

Adjust the lanyard connectors to make enough slack above the connectors so that you do not feel any downward pull in your ears from the plug end of the cable

Note: The lanyard has a built-in safety release that separates when forcefully pulled.

Using the clothing clip

Attach the headphone cable to the connector on the back side of the clip

Attach the clip high up on your shirt or collar, allowing for slack above the clip

Adjust the clip position until there is enough slack in the cable above the clip so that you do not feel any downward pull in your ears from the plug end of the cable
