Using composite or S-video cable
You can connect video to your system and TV using Composite or S-video cables: Composite is more common and, comparitively, S-video provides better image quality.
To use a Composite/S-Video, follow these steps:
- Connect the Composite or S-Video cable to the apropriate video output jacks on the media center connection panel
- Connect the Composite or S-Video cable to the apropriate video input jacks on the TV
- Turn the Lifestyle System on and select the DVD sound source
- Make sure the TV is on with the correct input selected
- Press the Settings button on the remote
- Press the down arrow until "System Setup" is selected. Press the Enter button
- Press the down arrow until "Video Output" is selected
- Press the right arrow to change the format to "Normal"
- Press the Exit button to leave the menu
