Enabling or disabling Auto-off mode
The automatic power off setting lets your product automatically turn off and enter standby if it is not in use for a period of time. This is useful, for example, to conserve power in case your product is accidentally left powered on.
Use the Bose app to select the amount of time before your product automatically turns off:
There are two timers in your headphones that can power off your headphones if they are not used for a period of time to conserve power. The Auto-off setting, which is adjustable in the Bose app, defaults to Never but can be set to a timeframe after which your headphones will power off if not playing audio. The Motion Detection timer will turn off your headphones If no movement is detected for 60 minutes. The Motion Detection timer can be turned off in the app in the Settings > Auto off section under "Advanced" (starting with app version 3.0.x)
