Certain remote control buttons do not work

If your remote control works but some of the buttons on it do not control your system as expected, try the following:

Are you using the iPod dock or the Bluetooth® dock?

Your system came with an iPod dock that could be swapped with a Bluetooth dock, which was available as an accessory. Select which you are using.
