Product not available on the authorization screen in a partner's app
When using Partner Connections powered by the Switchboard Platform, and you are not seeing your product on the authorization screen, here are a few reasons that may happen:
Partner Connections are currently compatible with a subset of the Bose app products.
Your products won't appear on the authorization screen if they are not compatible. The products currently compatible with Partner Connections are:
If products are linked to your Bose account, but missing from a connection's authorization list, you are a "Co-Owner" of those products.
To become the "Owner" of a product, follow these steps:
- Bose Home Speaker 300
- Bose Home Speaker 450
- Bose Home Speaker 500
- Bose Portable Home Speaker
- Bose Soundbar 500
- Bose Soundbar 700
- Bose Smart Soundbar 300
If products are linked to your Bose account, but missing from a connection's authorization list, you are a "Co-Owner" of those products.
To become the "Owner" of a product, follow these steps:
- Restore your product to its factory settings. See Resetting your product and follow the instructions to restore factory settings
- Set up your product again using your Bose account.
